This updated resource from MSU Center for Regional Food Systems identifies national and statewide opportunities for financial support for Michigan farmers, food producers, distributors, food hubs, other food-related businesses, and business assistance providers. 

In the guide, funding sources are organized into four major categories: 

  • Crowdfunding 
  • Start-up accelerator resources 
  • Miscellaneous resources 
  • Michigan and federal government funding resources 

The directory includes 81 sources of funding, guidance for what kind of financing to seek, and tips for getting funding.
