MFIN Virtual Network Meeting: Michigan MarketMaker Cultivate Michigan Affiliation

MarketMaker is a national database of farms and food businesses, coordinated by state-based partners, with the goal of building a virtual infrastructure that connects businesses throughout the food system. In recent years, several states have found success in using MarketMaker as a tool to help institutional food service buyers connect with local farmers and food business owners interested in institutional sales. During this virtual network meeting, we shared how Michigan MarketMaker can help make farm to institution connections in our own state, including through the new Cultivate Michigan affiliation.
