Learn from the Farm to Programs Consultants at Michigan Department of Education and the Michigan Farm to School team about school food basics in this second discussion through the Michigan Local Food Council Network meetings. Wendy Crowley and Emily Mattern from the Michigan Department of Education shared information about the new Michigan School Meals program and federal meal programs, including how they interact with the 10 Cents a Meal program. This presentation was the second in a series for the Michigan Local Food Council Network, and is ideal for anyone new to school food such as food policy council members, parents, teachers, students and more.
