Economics of High Tunnel Raspberry Production

Raspberry varieties were tested within multi-bay 3-season structures (high tunnels) at the Southwest Michigan Research and Extension Center (SWMREC) in Benton Harbot for four years. This report discusses results and economics related to production viability.

Perennial Wheat Research, Kellogg Biological Station

KBS has received a USDA Organic Research and Extension Grant to partner with farmers to develop perennial wheat (Triticum aestivum x Thinopyrum intermedium). Under the direction of Dr. Snapp, the research adds a new option for farmers seeking long-term ground cover in a specialty grain crop.
